ABOUT THE BOOK

Instead of thinking God is a monster for something scripture clearly says is within God’s character, maybe non-Calvinists should consider their systematic view and whether God is a liar. Does God say if you believe the gospel, you will be saved, then refuse to save? Is the Lord’s hand shortened that He cannot save? This is something the non-Calvinists must carefully examine when comparing their systematic view with Ephesians 2:8–10 considering the fact that counterfeit Christians do exist. Not only that, they should also examine whether their own system connotes the same sentiment when it says if you repent and turn to God, He will save you, while at the same time saying just because you repent doesn’t mean God has to save you.

I challenge all of you who disagree with the conclusions reached in this book and refuse to accept that the non-Calvinist system is a self-defeating system. My position in this book has been that the Word of God is our final authority and has to be rightly divided so that all of scripture fits together. My challenge to all of you who still, for some reason or another, disagree with my conclusions is to reconcile not all of scripture but simply five passages of scripture. Here are the guidelines. All five passages must be interpreted in a way so they all fit together, without contradicting the truth of either text or your theological system. The five passages are Romans 10:9–10, 1 Corinthians 12:3, Romans 8:9, 2 Corinthians 13:5, and Matthew 7:21–23.
